About this role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Senior Structures BIM Technician to join our vibrant and enthusiastic Building Structures group. The role covers a broad range of skills across the Building Structures discipline, from commercial property to healthcare, civic buildings, data centres and infrastructure building elements. Your previous experience in building structures BIM design/modelling and documentation will help enhance the team’s portfolio of skills and expertise. With access to a global community of BIM champions, you will collaborate with and learn from other digitally driven minds.

What will I do?

• Undertake BIM modelling and documentation of building structures, from small fitouts to renovations and large new-builds.
• Use relevant applications to develop data-rich 3D design models for buildings.
• Represent your team or area at internal meetings, and organise events, activities or small internal business projects.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of your work while providing progress information for accurate reporting.
• Develop automation routines to support productivity.

What will I bring?

• Over 8 years’ experience in the BIM industry as a structural modeller.
• Extensive knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Solibri, BIM 360 and Navisworks.
• Recognised qualifications in Drafting or Engineering, with working knowledge of BIM management including standards, workflows, Common Data Environment (CDE) and MPDT.
• Relevant industry experience in building structures BIM modelling and documentation within a consulting environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
